Browsing my own LiveJournal reminded me to post something

Although I don't write here very often at all (I even added it as one of my homepages so I would update it more), it does come in handy when I want to work out when I was living at farm hill or when something important happened that I might have blogged about, but the reason I came here today was to find out when it was I went to hospital to have my nose fixed, although that seems to escape me this time as I didn't blog about it, strangely I'm looking for it for a Job Application that wants to know how long I was off sick for 3 years ago, strange but there you go, since I'm very rarely sick except for when I want to go to the pub or I've been at the pub too much ;) I'm only really sick 2-3 times a year with the usual stomach upset or when have problems with my teeth.

So I've given up on finding out when that was and decided that while I was here I would write something down. A little update that may well become a long update if I don't feel sleepyer sooner. My Last post was before Glastonbury, well obviously I returned thou I haven't got around to uploading my photos to smugmug but I shall get around to that, even got my lomo photos scanned in from glasto so will put those up too when I get round to it. I did attempt a festival blog but failed and burnt my notebook to help start a fire, because we didn't have any kindling.

Well I've started talking about Glasto so I may as well finish and write down my bestest stories so i don't forget them. Had a good start to the festival me and Matt drove up thou we did get there a little later then I would've liked the spot where I wanted to camp was already quite full but I found a spot with a space for Adam & Hannah when they arrived later. After setting up I gave Matt a little tour of the site pointing out the best places to go, but unfortunately the tour would continue for many days as instead of doing his own thing Matt mostly followed me to the music I wanted to see and the places I wanted to eat, except for an unnatural hatred for The Wurzels by Matt, but he did do some things on his own, like going to the toilet.

A good example was Thursday night, I wanted to go see Back to the Future in the Cinema field even though it was raining, Matt didn't want to go because it was raining, so I was all prepared with plenty of waterproofing and went to watch the film a little while later Matt shows up with his chair and not much else which led to him getting very cold and soggy and leaving before it finished, Adam told me later that Matt had a complete change of heart and decided it wasn't too wet to watch a film despite his previous complaints. ah well, I enjoyed the film non the less especially in a field with hundreds of people shouting 1.21 JIGAWATTS!!!

After that rain it was actually quite nice a bit of cloud so it wasn't too sunny and not much rain so it wasn't too muddy, that's one of my stories and the only other one I can really remember now is to do with how my notebook combusted, on the Saturday night Adam suggested we go up to Stone Circle, I thought brilliant we'll all go up there and watch the sun rise, he also suggested we pick up some fire wood, fair enough that'll keep us warm. 1 bag of reconstituted wood please, that'll be £5 would you like some kindling, no sir says Adam and so begins the tale of the fire that almost never was.

We arrive at the Stone Circle and pick a nice spot to start out fire near to the other fire starters, immediately people whip out their lighters and begin lighting individual slices of wood, I say slices as it was a sort of mdf/chip board cut into circular discs, this proved unsuccessful and as I watched on at burning fingers instead of burning wood, I inquired as to how a fire might be started without any kindling, to which there was no reply, I happened upon a genius plan, whereby an empty cider box and some paper from my notebook would serve as a shield from the wind and kindling for the fire.

It was a good plan, the paper burned but the slices did not catch fire, more paper was added it burned and burned until a flash of flames filled the air, the box itself caught alight, but as quick as they'd started they soon settled down to reveal two slices of wood somehow unaffected by my genius plan. Twas back to the drawing board or so they say to hatch my plan a second I say, A wombling I did go for newspaper, sticks and twigs would make good kindling for our fire, newspaper I did not find, twigs on branches were not suitable and so I did perchance upon some cardboard water crates with plastic removed these 3 trays would serve as the second phase, a larger shield from the wind, I thought then kindling if not, more rummaging though the bin did find the newspaper I so desired.

Back again with combustibles a plenty, this time I would be successful third time may be lucky but second times the charm as I arranged the boxes in a triangle around the base twisted newspaper became the twigs and lightly rested slices upon the twisted paper, the lighters were once again withdrawn from pockets and purses to light the fire, and so it burned more paper was added, but something was still missing, that something my dear was oxygen, it was missing from the first enclosed design and strangely so from this open air contraption, a wall removed allowed us access to the embers burning beneath the wood, I must admit twas Adams plan to fashion bellows from my heavy hat upon the ground a vicious beating the ground received and so hence forth did fires grow, flames within begin to show, and once this feat of engineering was in full steam the walls did crumble providing fuel, no longer was the wind a threat, the wind was tamed within my hat and so a might fire did grow, so much so others asked 'can a get a light off of your fire mate?'

*shakes* thew I don't know what came over me there, that's quite a tale about fire if I ever did just write about fire or something, anywho I take full credit for getting the fire going and maintaining it, it wasn't long after it was going that everyone wanted to throw a log on the fire in an attempt to extinguish the fire, I had to explain that you must wait until the ones on top had burnt through then you stir up the ashes and stick another slice on top, I have my Nans fireplace to thank for teaching me how to make a fire, and it didn't half come in handy, unfortunately after it was lit everyone buggered off to bed, lazy buggers, but I decided that I was going to stay and watch the sun rise, and in doing so I made some new friends well sorta, they too ran away when I nipped to the loo, but the sun did rise although the clouds made it hard to see, but it was definitely light out, so it was time to get to bed before the sun heats up the tent so I can't sleep in it.

Well I've run out of steam now so I'll just note what's been happening between now and then. I quit Sainsburys yay, now I'm unemployed again boo, so am Job Hunting again, Matt is still off training in Banbury so it's rather dull in Exeter at the mo, but Pete's back from Bristol and Dale's back from France so I'll talk to them instead of Matt :P

Finally got around to having a look at fixing my computer it's been sitting around too long not doing anything, I am convinced it's the motherboard so have ordered a new one to find out for sure, can't wait to get it up and running again.

Retrovision 2008.5 is coming up in October so I'm very much looking forward to that, have decided to drive up on the Friday and come home on the Monday which will be nice and relaxing compared to previous events where I've had to rush off on the Sunday because of the stoopid trains.

Had better stop writing and get to bed, will read this tomorrow and think what a load of rubbish it is and then leave it for all to see, Cheerio :D

Cheers

Gaming, Geeking & Grilling

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Have been getting along with this very well now, I have completed the first three dungeons and have now obtatined the Master Sword, am now havin a lark in the Dark World.

Cloverfield
I managed to avoid any spoilers and very much enjoyed this film, and that's all I'm gonna say wouldn't want to spoil it now :P

8 Track + Record Deck
I managed to fix the Record playing part of my funky old piece of kit, it just needed a little oil to keep the platter spinning, also the needle and broken off the pickup, luckily there was a little match box with a couple of spares in it, so it's now up and running and I've been enjoying using the magical queing up thingie so it plays a record then drops the next one down to play. My currect track (below or above depending on where you look at it) is because I'm testing out the record deck with the ultimate piece of music, cannon's and all.

BBQ
We be havin a BBQ tonight and the weather looks alright so hopefully it'll stay that way, speaking of BBQs I need to go and get ready for this one ;)

Cheers

Finally Got Around to Doing Something I Intended to Do

This blogging malarkey being one of them and the other being playing one of the many games that I buy either because someone recommended it to me or because I've read all about it and it looks like one of those games that you must play in order to call yourself a true gamer etc...

So a couple of months ago I bought The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES because I really can't get my head round playing the original Legend of Zelda, and since I really enjoyed Four Swords Adventures, I figured that I should play this game as it's pretty much based off of Link to the Past.

I put the cartridge in and the familiar Zelda tune came on and so a couple of hour disappeared as I worked my way through the first two dungeons, even with all the modern games and such I can still enjoy games from this era, I think it's probably because I grew up in the SNES, Mega Drive era (The Fourth generation if Wikipedia is to be believed), whereas other people grew up with Speccys and C64s then can still play those games but I have difficulty getting into them.

Anywho I hope this starts a long line of games that I still need to complete, and hopefully I will stop adding to that list by not buying any more games, I might still have to buy some new releases but I can't see anything on the horizon yet until Gears of War 2, but by that I mean no old games that have been out for yonks and I can quite easily pick up on eBay at anytime, anytime being after I finish all these games that I need to play.

A short list of games I intended to play having only recently bought them:
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Killer 7
Vib Ribbon
A whole bunch of Dreamcast games (Only just got a Dreamcast)
A whole bunch of Playstation 2 games (Gamestation have too many good deals on preowned games)

And those are just the games that I haven't started there are plenty of games I started and never finished:
Blue Dragon
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Paper Mario
Assassins Creed
Beautiful Katamari
Mass Effect

The List goes on, so perhaps when I'm not busy getting ready for Glastonbury I shall compile my list of games to play and games to finish and knuckle down and finish them, while I don't have a girlfriend or an important job, you know distractions like that :P

Forget CDs & Vinyl, 8 Track FTW!

Been enjoying my 8 Track/Record Deck that I got off ebay but picked up in Exeter, meaning I got it for the bargin price of £4.99 :O although I haven't got the Record Deck to work yet, I've been testing out all my 8 Track tapes that I also got off ebay, with intentions of getting an incar 8 Track to play them on but I haven't found one yet especially one with a radio built in.

It seems like it's going to be a while yet, till I can get my Mazda on the road, now we have to sort out insurance for it before we can take it to get it's MOT, which is a right pain, so the other day I caught myself looking first at used cars and then new cars, I would love to get my hands on a Audi 80,90,100,A4 or a VW Golf,Passat Estate car to aid in transporting kit to RV is why I want an estate car and I just really like the Audi/VW designs.

I really wound't mind buying a new car, but I don't think I'm in a good financial place right now, so I will most likely wait until I have a better job and a better income, and could afford to get one on finance. Anywho I should be able to get an old version of the car I like for cheap and just run it into the ground :P

This 'n That

I have endevoured to try and update my journal a little more often then every time my head explodes and filters out through my fingers. I'm sure I'll fail at it eventually but I've set it as one of my home pages so it opens up along with YakYak, Gmail, UKNova and Twitter so after I've checked all those things then it's blogging time :P

Well I am pleased that my Glastonbury Tickets arrived today, I have been planning it for the past couple of weeks and will probably still be sorting things out in the coming weeks before the festival I will only have 6 days off in the coming 2 weeks before Glasto, then 1 day off on Tuesday where I will load up the car and do the food shopping I will need for the festival. Should be enough time for everything, just gotta show Matt how to put up my tent for one thing and purhaps buy some more stuff that I either don't need or forgot that I really need.

That'll do for my first one I wanna keep it short and sweet but just a little longer than a twitter update so there it is, enjoy.

Cheers

Working at Sainsburys doesn't half make you want to look for a better job instead of just sitting...

This was originally intended as a twitter update but as I thought about it I didn't think I could fit it into 140 characters so it starts a bit like this "Working at Sainsburys doesn't half make you want to look for a better job instead of just sitting on your arse waiting for it to magically.." and after I've run out of space it continues here why not:

sort itself out, today, well yesterday now, my bank rang me up to do one of those update your details make sure you're paying them lots of money for privilege of having a bank account and sign you up for some more of their services, so updating my details you still live at this address, this is still your phone number, errr yeah you rang me :P do you still work at Exeter University as a Web Designer?.... to which I replied yes, yes I do, not only was I lying to them but I was lying to myself I'm not a real Web Designer and I technically work at the University as a Temp although I've just remembered they sent me an e-mail I probably should have replied to in order to keep that position oh well I'd be better off quiting there as they don't give me any work anyway and I can sort out my Tax then.

Anywho the chap on the phone was very nice he asked me about what I did at the uni so I told him what I used to do there, it reminded me that I was just bumbling about just working and not enjoying it, now that I have gotten used to working there, I have become a robot, I say the exact same phrases to every person several hundred times a day and then i go home I find that I am quite able to ignore these hours of the day just switch off and switch on the Robot-Robert to do the motions and say the phrases.

But just that little lie has brought it back to my attention that I do not enjoy what I do, and that one of the obstacles for me getting a better job was not being able to drive, and having passed my test a few weeks ago, it appears I have completely forgotten why it was I was learning to drive in the first place, yes it was so that I wouldn't need to ask for lifts and so I could drive to Retrovision and festivals and such but it was also so that if need be I could go and get a job anywhere in Devon or even outside if so be it.

Although saying that I switch off at work is perhaps not quite right as I do still think about things, having mastered the system I can work without having to think about what I'm doing which leaves my brain free to think about other things I wouldn't be able to remember what it is I was thinking about unless it was very important but I guess I'm just doing a little filing to keep me occupied so I don't go mad, it occurs to me that I am quite introverted in this situation as I dislike it when other colleagues talk to me when it's quiet and I just want to organise my thoughts, I also don't like talking to customers apart from the set phrases as I often forget to do things like give them their cash back or something special they've asked for, next time this happens I might blame them for distracting me, but on the other hand I do quite like putting on my fake smile and grinning like an idiot while asked "would you like any help with your packing?" (say it in an annoyed sarcastic slightly high-pitched voice and you'll know how I'm feeling right now)

But then again perhaps I'm not annoyed at everything, but angry at myself for wasting my own time, I've always been of the opinion that I should enjoy the now and to hell with the consequences (man I love that game) which I usually do unfortunately I'm sure I have hurt feelings sometimes by what I say or do, without realizing it, I'm very clumsy in this respect I can often stick my foot in my mouth without realizing it and sometimes when I do realize it I don't do anything about it. I'm become the sort of person that upon seeing someone about to do something that I know isn't right or will cause them to do something wrong, I will keep silent just to watch how they deal with the situation instead of being a kind human being and speaking up and telling them what will happen if they do that.

A good example of this was last weekend at Sainsburys, I knew that the till behind me didn't have any money in at all, and somebody came in and signed on and started serving customers I could have told him there was no money in the till but I figured he'd find out when he opened the till, and sure enough when his first customer paid him in cash he found out and a supervisor was called over to sort it out, which could have easily been avoided had I spoken up and told him the till was empty, although the way I might think of it, is that they should have known not to put anyone on there and it wasn't my responsibility and claim ignorance. That's just one example I can think off it certainly wasn't a one off and I will probably do it again. Maybe I think they will learn from their experiences and that they need to do it wrong in order to learn this lesson like I did or will do.

Anyway I think that's enough babbling this was originally just a twitter update but it is most certainly to long for that which is why I thought I'd put some fingers to keyboard and write down how I feel after that one little lie on the telephone, a lie to myself that I was still doing a job that I vaguely enjoyed instead off one that I dislike just because it gives me something to do during the day, living at home with parents means the only bills are my phone and anything I choose to buy. I have said to myself that I will not be spending any more money if I can help it from now on, but it hasn't quite worked out so far, but I will keep at it, and I will keep looking for better jobs and hopefully stop lying to myself.

Cheers
Rob

Blah, blah, blah read the wonderful musings of an unemployed person

It has been a very long time since I wrote here, so I'll start with what I am doing right now this second besides updating my livejournal I am sitting at home on my computer which I recently repaired after Windows decided to fall over, I am thinking about the fact the tomorow I am going to London and I need to pack and that I currently have no Job and thusly (yes that is a word I just checked) feel sorry for myself, I want to get a job, I want to go to University I also want my tooth back which I had removed last week because it was cheaper than a root canal, but before I can do any of that I still need to finish my NVQ because I ran out of time with the University, so now I need to find a job that will let me do that.

I should be in bed at this hour but then I don't have a job to go to so I don't need to, plus there's a pile of clothes on my bed that I need to pick out what I want to wear in London and the rest needs to be folded up and put away before I can go to bed, so I'm procrastinating by writing this.

After weeks and months of being told about this thing called facebook, I decided that purhaps it wasn't just going to disapear because it was MySpace 2.0, and from what I can see so far that is what it is, but for some reason people like it more, even thou it's another silly american put all your details up on the web and hope that someone will come and read it and become best friends with you just because you both love that episode of Scrubs where J.D and Elliot hook up for the first time, which is maybe why this has turned into a Johny C. style rant it might be, it could also be because I have watched so much Scrubs in the past week that I could probably tell tell you every single line before they say it in any given episode. Disturbing Scrubs obbsession aside I've filled in all my details now I just can't wait to see all my friends add me as their friend just in case I wasn't sure.

Matt came over today, I was pleased to get his text earlier but I didn't really see him, as we just watched Family Guy and American Dad until he had to go, so I didn't get to speak to him about anything but I guess there'll be plenty of time for that when we have our little trip to London on Wednesday.

I finally got around to registering for Glastonbury, I couldn't get a photo a liked in the hallway so I did a proper little photo shoot I pulled down the projector screen setup the tripod and took a bunch of pictures till I got the right one and I did, and I even did a little bit of work on it ;) just lost a spot or two :P So now all that's taken care off I can buy me some tickets come April, I'm still going to try and get into festivals with Oxfam this year as I really enjoyed it last year.

Right that's it I've had enough of this rubbish I'm going to try and get something done so cheerio for now, will chat to ya later :P

Cheers
Rob

Ask Elvis

Not done an update here in a long while but here's a little something I hope you'll enjoy.

I submitted a question to Steve Wrights show on BBC Radio 2 for a little segment called Ask Elvis.

Surprisingly it got answered so I recorded it off and uploaded it to my website for your listening pleasure the first clip is just my question and second is the entire unedited Ask Elvis piece.

http://www.psychorob.co.uk/livejournal/ask_elivs_20061013.htm

And if you have a question for Elvis go to the website and ask away. Ask Elvis is on Steve Wrights show, on fridays between 2pm and 5pm, there is also an edited podcast available after the show which only contains a section of the Ask Elvis that was broadcast so don't rely on that make sure you listen or listen again if you miss it.

Cornbury Festival 2006

Just sitting on the train on the way to reading, I'm very lucky to be on it as the train from Charlbury to Oxford was late and it waited thou I may still miss my next train to Exeter but Reading ain't so bad it's better than Oxford. Any way enough about trains on to the festival.

Friday 7th July 2006
After arriving in Charlbury an hour later thanks to a canceled train I set off walking to the Cornbury site, but only 10 metres out of the station a car stopped and asked me if I would like a lift to Cornbury, it was a very nice lady who even gave me some music recomendations she dropped me just outside the festival so i only had a short walk and this place was tiny compared to Glastonbury so after a little mixup I found our campsite.

We were in the crew camping so there was us 11 Oxfam campaigners and 200 Oxfam Stewards. We had a little semi-circle of tents right in the middle just far away enough from the toilet and showers. I set up camp and took some pictures

My, that was close, I know I said I'd stop talking about trains but I was very lucky to get into Reading with two minutes to spare so I had to run from platform 5 to platform 4 which is alot further then it should be, but I did it and am now on my way home and to a nice shower.

Anywho we weren't working today just getting comfortable, getting to know everyone I think remember most peoples names and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun trying to name the pictures later ;) We weren't allowed on the main site till tomorrow but they had thoughtfully provided a lloverly little tent with a bar and a stage and some strangs masks on string to stop peopie running away with them we didn't stay there too late for me it was because i only had 5 hours sleep the night before so i got a fairly good sleep that night.

Saturday 9th July 2006
I woke up beore my alarm clock as I had expected with sleeping in tent, it was 7:30 AM and I needed the toilet, oh great the loos in our camp were full ok then I'll wait, managed to get a bit more sleep but gave up and trecked all the way to the other side of the camping field after that I was a little annoyed that the Guarian man was there giving away free cameras with the newspapers so I went all the way back to the campsite got my wallet bougt my paper and made it back in time for the briefing.

Our shift started at 12 AM and finished at 4 PM everyone was working at the same time each taking it in turn to do an hour by the beautiful Oxfam branded VW Campervan.

which is always much slower then running around getting signatures we were spit into pairs

There was me (Rob) and Martyn as Team 1

Tim and Cathrine as Team 2 (and the picture Tim was taking on the right)

Beth and Rosie as Team 3

Ben and Liz as Team 4

the other two girls (Sorry I forgot your names) as Team 5

and last but not least there was our wonderful leader Caroline who was busy leading us

here's the snap she took of us all (minus tthe other two girls)

We got given a cool T-shirt and a clipboard to qo out and get people to sign the big noise petition and give out fair trade stickers mainley so we could see who had already signed but also because they looked cool we did fairly well but not as well as the girls we found out later, after that each team had to sit by the van for an hour and a half which was even slower that night I went back to the campsite for some tea then headed back in to see The Waterboys only to find out they were stuck in Madrid I'll have a go at them next weekend at Guilfest so we stayed by the van and attempted to play hackysack before me, Martyn and Tim went to see Robert Plant of Led Zepllin who wasn't really very good in my opinion bui I think the Led Zep fans enjoyed it so thats good.

After that disapointment we went to see the fire show put on by the good people at burnttoast.co.uk it was very good and i got some good pictures of it too

After this we decided to try out the fairground by riding the metorite, this is the ride that's like a giant colinder it spins you round with centrafugal forces pushing you up against the wall then it rises up so you are spinning near verticle before bringing you back to earth. That was just too much excitement so we went to bed but not before stopping in the big tent in the camping field to see what was going on, oh dear it looks like rain.

Sunday 10th July 2006
Well I wasn't woken by the sun or even the rain this morning, i was awoken by a strange feeling in the bottom of my sleeping bag, it didn't feel quite right, on further investigation I found the cause to be a leaking tent and an absorbant sleeping bag meant that me socks were wet too.

I must still need some practice putting up my new tent if it's going to let water in. Not a great start to the day but we had a fun day of campaigning ahead but I was still a bit knackered so this morning I propossed to my team mate that we get some coffee in, forget about having alchol to get you talking, nothing gets your mouth moving faster then a cup of near black coffee with two sugars fair trade of course, especially when you're not used to the caffine. I was talking absolute rubbish inbetween talking to people I must have turned a few people away with my ramblings as I got even less today but I had a good time and I wasn't shaking too much ;) Tim came by the van while we were sitting at it with his face freshly painted with the Oxfam logo to the disapointment off Martyn who had been umming and ahhhring about getting his face painted.

Now it was time for some food so back to the tent for a chat and some grub we could just about hear the main stage but our next destionation was the Oxford Folk stage to see Kate Rusby who was enjoyable even thou I couldn't hear what she was singing about I went there with Martyn and Tim was there somewhere. Next to see is The Pretenders on the main stage, just as we were walking there we could here a woman singing which confused me and Martyn as we thought we were seeing two blokes singing "I would walk 500 miles" but corected us that we were thinking of The Proclaimers who were playing this weekend just at T in the Park in Scotland, we were glad that it wasn't them thou, The Protenders were very good even her new stuff that no one had heard of was toe tappingly good.

That was all I really wanted to see so while Texas were playing we played Frisbee before meeting up with Beth, Cathrine & Rosie to go to the fairground. Tonight we were going on the ride were you all sit in line and get spun around left and right up and down, then we popped into the chai tea tent to get some chai chocolate we sat down with Caroline, Ben and Liz too before heading back to the van to see it off as everyone started to leave.

We got to hear and see it drive away before we all made our way back to the campsite by way of the entertainment in the big tent, stayed there for a while then off to bed.

Monday 11th July 2006
Most of the campaigners had left last night, I heard Tim leaving which left me, Beth, Cathrine & Liz. I packed up all my stuff inside the tent then packed up the tent unfortuantly it was drizzling so I did it as quick as I could. I finished just after the girls were about to leave but managed to stop them so I could follow them to the train station having got a lift on the way in, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and would definatly walk it again next time. Now as I finish writing this I'm actually on a train to Guildford for my next festival Guilfest 2006, it's my birthday treat to myself and I'll try to keep my journal upto date over the next few days.

Cheers

An OISAC MILIXE?
What's that then?
Oh it's a mirror image yes it's a Casio Exilim Z-600, I finally gave in and bought me a new digital camera, being pay day after all I saw the one I wanted on the jessops website so I popped into the shop with e-mail in hand and had a look at the camera itself very small and lloverly, no viewfinder that's a bonus since i don't use them, shoot from the hip :D and I bought it right there. It's just what I always wanted, how did you know? :P

Glastonbury 2004: The Lost Photos
I found a disposable camera embedded in the mud at the Other Stage, at the time I picked it up, fixed it up and started using it without thinking of handing it in, such was my guilt that I never had these photographs developed...

...Until Now!!!

Keep an eye out for more pictures as I scan them :) as you can see from this one the film had already suffered from some light leaks before I got to it but it looks kinda cool. When the Jessops man said about light leaks I thought yeah yeah I know then he said it was blurry all the way through which worried me, this had been sititng around for almost 2 years, but no most of them came out fine from what I can see on the negs.

So many fun things to see and do

There's a couple of things that have caught my eye, luckily they gave my eye back afterwards otherwise that could've been rather annoying, anyhoo, first of all this month I really want to go to the Devon County Show which is now only 13 days away, so I still need to find someone to go with and buy tickets. Then the next thing that I'm interested in doing is the Great West Walk 2006 it's a walk for the British Heart Foundation on the 21st May and it covers the entire Exeter Green Circle Route which goes past my house and Ellie's it also goes through the University you can either do 8 miles or 13 miles, I'm fairly confident I could walk the full 13 miles.

Ok I just went and registered on the website inbetween writing this see my sponsership page so I'll be pestering you to sponser me soon :D

Cheers
